The haunting presented is subtly unnerving, but seems more like it's hitting harder just because the guy is already going through a rough patch. If you're here for a serious story about a man's life falling apart, you might also be disappointed. This is an odd little book (only 111 pages) and if you're here for a ghost story, you might be disappointed. and then sentences show up that seem out of place. Scenes from his screenplay are mixed with him talking about his own life. The story is told as if you're reading the journal he's writing. His wife and four year old daughter accompany him and at first all goes well.
